Ben joined UES in 2023 as a Trainee Ecologist following a decision to pursue a change of career. Ben is keen to begin his learning journey into ecology and conservation.
In his current role at UES, Ben assists with ecological surveys including protected species and habitat surveys, report writing, and GIS mapping.
Ben is currently working towards a level three field identification skills certificate (FISC) from the Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland (BSBI), which would certify him as competent to undertake preliminary ecological appraisals.
