Harry joined UES in 2024 as a Graduate Ecologist after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a MRes degree in Ecology & Environment. During his degrees he gained field experience through ecology focused modules and volunteering. Shortly after his degree he also worked as an entomologist with an NGO in Honduras, running the invertebrate sampling effort and gaining experience in entomological sampling methods.
In his current role at UES, Harry assists with ecological surveys including report writing, protected species and habitat surveys. Harry is currently working towards his level 3 field identification skills certificate (FISC), as well as his level 1 bat and great crested newt survey licenses. In the long term, Harry is looking to become a specialist in invertebrate surveys.
