Heather joined UES in 2024 as a Field Ecologist following several years working for conservation charities. During this time she has gained experience in habitat management, project management and GIS.

In her current role at UES, Heather assists with ecological surveys including protected species and habitat surveys, and report writing.

Heather has undergone emergency first aid training and is qualified in the use of brushcutter and clearing saw, PA1 and PA6 AW for hand-held application of pesticides.

Heather is working towards gaining survey licences for bats and great crested newts.
