Congratulations to Declan who has passed the City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award for Tree Climbing and Rescue. This enables Declan to access a tree through climbing (both using ladders and climbing equipment) and also allows him to carry out aerial tree inspections for roosting bats. The exam also ensures that Declan can rescue and recover conscious and unconscious casualties in the highly unlikely event that this is necessary.

However, our equipment is also subject to an independent inspection by a qualified examiner in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER).
